I'm working for theringer.com. Everything is free over there, an article on Taylor Wrice is up, and one on Jake Kiley should be up soon.

When you see an article (or write one) on a BC target, you should throw a link up here. Self promote a little - I'd read your stuff, and it is good info. Make it easy for us though with a link.

Will this site have a pro TOB slant? This is important.

Nope not pro TOB. The forums are good stuff too. Alot of different fanbases on their so you get different sides of recruit battles and a chatbox which is a fun thing until you get the crazy people in there. I've been there from the beginning, and the site has the potential to break into the big 3(rivals,scout,espn). Got a full northeast site coming out in the next couple months and a full database that has a lot of features that the major sites don't even think about. End of plug lol.

Perhaps theringer and this cesspool of a website should enter into a relatioship. I miss the days of visiting idiots from other teams' sites.

A prospect to watch in the Class of 2012 will be defensive lineman Brent Wilkerson (Hyattsville, Md./DeMatha). The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder knows all about attention because his teammate is Cyrus Kouandjio, the No. 1-ranked OL in the 2011 class, and he's seen college coaches from coast-to-coast come through the doors at DeMatha.

"It's definitely been an advantage for me and my teammates having Cyrus getting all the attention," Wilkerson said. "Coaches that came to look at film of Cyrus also got to see me and my teammates on film and in person.

"I already have scholarship offers from Virginia, North Carolina State, Rutgers and Delaware have offered me a scholarship. I went to Rutgers for their junior day and that's when they offered me a scholarship. I have plans on attending other junior days like Penn State, Georgia Tech, Boston College, LSU, Michigan State and Oregon.

"The schools I mentioned are at the top of my wish list because they have been recruiting me the hardest and sending me the most hand-written mail. I want all the schools to know that I'm completely open and I'm willing to go to any part of the country to go to school and play my college football."

Wilkerson had 10 sacks as a junior and led his team in solo tackles. He also had eight catches for 168 yards on the offensive side of the ball and was an all-league selection.

A name to watch for 1st commit is Dan Voltz IL OT. He is nowhere near a BC lean but he plans on commiting by the end of the spring. I feel vvery good about them getting him on campus, and he is interested. I'd say NW will be tough to beat though. He's only made I believe like 7 visits and 5 of them have to NW. Otherwise I'll guess with Win Homer.

Brennon Williams' father will most likely lead the kid away from BC. I think he's advising Reeves and we can probably scratch off the younger Williams kid as well.

Recruiting news never sleeps. Ironically enough, recruiting weirdos get pictures of shirtless boys while said recruits sleep. It's quite funny if you think about it.

Class of 2012 offensive guard Frank Taylor is one of the top interior linemen in Pennsylvania among those in his class and several schools are already taking notice.

Pittsburgh and Rutgers, two schools that frequently recruit Taylor's area, have already verbally offered him. You can bet more schools will be doing the same.

"I received the Pitt (offer) when I went to their camp back in July over the summer. The Rutgers offer was very recent, when I went to their junior day."

Taylor admits he hasn't had a lot of contact with Pitt since their coaching shakeup. He's hoping he can change that in the near future so he can find out where he stands with the Panthers.

Taylor has visited two schools recently.

"I visited Boston College recently," he recalled. "I enjoyed everything over there. It's a real great place. They've got some interest in me and I've got a lot of interest in them.

"Rutgers' junior day was nice, too. They've got real nice facilities and a great education over there."

While both of those trips went well Taylor said he's not leaning towards any school.

"I wouldn't say I have any favorites," he explained. "I'm still determining that."

Taylor said he will be attending a junior day at Notre Dame at the end of February.

Michigan State, UConn, USC and Wisconsin are a few of the other schools that have shown interest.

While he is listed as an offensive guard Taylor said he could possibly be moved to center in college.

Schools (apparantly)

Among the listed attendees at BC's junior day, Scout has Taylor and Fuller listed at 3*. Fuller looks very interesting: played QB and safety as a junior, ran and passed for 4150 yards and 52 TDs on offense, made 65 tackles and 3 INTs on defense, only junior named first team all-state, North Jersey Player of the Year -- definitely a player with multiple possibilities. (His school, by the way, is North Valley Regional Old Tappan HS, so one can understand the abbreviation. "Holy State" is Holy Spirit HS, where BC has had notable success in the past. "Howell School" is Howell HS, a public HS in NJ.)

BC's glory days for ACC Championships might be over....Florida State had the number 1 class this year, and already have 7 top 150 commits for next year...I don't know what cards jimbo is using but he's just making it look easy (He must be promising them that they are going to have people do their papers and tests like a couple of years ago.)

I disagree on both. I like Alabama and maybe USC over FSU this year. And next year they have 7 commits, one is a K he isn't top 150. Leggett is a top 150 guy but he's going to Miami. Fowler and Casher are top 100 players and then the rest are borderline top 150 for me. I think Pender is but Stuckey and Williams arent.

FSU often had top 5 classes when they sucked too. Not sure why you're assuming that these 4 and 5 stars will pan out any more than those in the mid 200xs.

If you think this is the same FSU team/program that they were five years ago with an aging Bobby Bowden as HC and an aging Mickey Andrews as DC, then I honestly don't know what to tell you. Fisher is in serious re-build mode at FSU.
