Is this a "Sod Game"

Postby HJS on Thu Oct 01, 2009 9:22 am

Every one of FSU's previous roadtrips to BC have been "Sod Games". They have all been FSU wins (and while I can't speak to 1976), they have all been played in the rain. Conversely, both recent BC trips to Tallahassee have involved Blackouts and BC wins.

Two unranked teams? I'd say not.

Boston College has its own history of sod vandalism.

If you're referring to '93, I think you're way off. This picture is probably in the 2002-2004 range, maybe after the infamous "green jersey" game. Hell, isn't #8 in the background Eric "Daunte Culpepper II" Boatwright?

Is that Shalom Tolefree in the front?

This is indeed from the Green Jersey "Return to Glory" game.

In 1993, ND-FSU was at Notre Dame Stadium. So, it must be 2002 in Tallahassee.
