Florida State Travels Well

How bad would a big group of Garnet throw off the "gold out"? I imagine Florida State will send a pretty large constituent to this game?

seeing as it is a cancer awareness type gold out I would hope(though not expect) that they show up in their gold FSU gear.

Because of this, I wouldn't be angry at those (FSU fans) who didn't show up with gold.

Even if the memo was forwarded to them would they know how to get it out of the memo machine?

Despite what you may think, most FSU fans have a clue. Some may show up in garnet out of ignorance but it won't be a coordinated effort.

There are two types of FSU fans. Those that are affiliated with FSU in some way, and posers who started rooting for FSU in the 90s because they were good. One of those two groups doesn't deserve much respect and doesn't garner high expectations.

The majority of FSU attire is maroon/garnet. I expect the majority of FSU fans in attendance to be wearing that color. I'm not going to hold it against them if they don't run out to get something predominantly gold, but I will hold it against all the half-assed BC "fans" and/or whalepants that don't show up in some version of gold/mustard. Unfortunately, I expect quite a bit of this.

It's supposed to be raining, I don't think that they would want their whalepants and sweaters to get wet. hopefully they can wear a yellow raincoat at least.

If it's truly a gold out, shouldn't the team wear gold?

This would make sense, are there hidden jerseys we have never seen? are they hidden in :tranq 's ears? Or in :toby 's jorts? We need to investigate.

The posers who rooted for FSU in the 90's cheer for the Buccaneers these days apparently, so they're getting their punishment.

I split 10 years between Atlanta and South Florida. This sounds more like fans of "The U" than FSU. Canes fans are pure scum. UF fans are obnoxious and unload sperm in their pants when the word "Tebow" is mentioned, but then again they have every right these days. UGA, Bama, and Auburn fans were in a different mold. Perhaps "obnoxious rednecks" sums it up. The SEC ruled the world and The South was on the verge of winning The Civil War.

Am I going to be able to buy that gold crap at the stadium? Or at least one of the Herzy shirts. I'd like to participate in the gold out, but have refrained from buying the crappy gold stuff that has been on sale to this point.

Are the Superfans going gold? Will their Mariglold colored T-shirts clash?

IIRC, the herzy shirts are similar in color to the superfan shirts.

I was thinking the "Gold Rush" was closer to the gold we have on the site here.

The Herzy shirts seem more gold and less marigold in person

I'll be wearing my Superfan shirt instead of the Herzy shirt... since I wore the Herz Shirt during Clemson it's had a bad taste. That being said, the Herz shirt isn't the same color... it's pretty accurately represented on the website. It has that "washed" look to it a la $40 Tshirts at abercrombie. It's like weight and virtually see-through.

Let's be serious, what are the chances the majority of our whalepants show up in gold?

The Herzy shirts are much better quality than most of the gold rush crap they have marketed in the past. Definitely worth the $20, considering the cause.
I know they had tons at the McElroy bookstore, not sure about Hillside or inside the stadium. If the sports marketing department was smart, they would be selling racks of the things inside the stadium, but that might be giving them too much credit.

Re: FSU fans, anyone expecting them to wear gold in an effort to match is going to be sorely disappointed. Since when are the visiting team's fans expected to go along with whatever the home team plans?

FYI you can order a Herzy shirt online at http://www.bcbookstore.com and choose "Pickup at Hillside" as shipping. No need to worry about shipping and it will be a quick transaction the day of the game.

Sah-weet. Except I just ordered and it says it's on back order under Order Details. Does that mean when I show up at Hillside requesting my shirt that I'll be turned away with my dick in my hand? If so, I may have to pull a Scafe and tack on 15 yards to that bitch.
