It's one of the older Jesuit colleges (and one of the older Catholic colleges) in the US. I was just guessing, figuring the Jesuit connections might have brought it to your attention. I also figured it's obscure enough that you might call it a university when it's actually a college (poor bastards don't have an engineering school).

Oddly enough, my husband (also a B.C. guy - Class of '74) teaches broadcast journalism at Spring Hill College (he's a news anchor here.) The college is actually considerably older than B.C. (1830) - rather surprising in the deep south.
