Everyone on this thread who does not delete their posts and insults Manga Boy will be eliminated.
The Browns had their chance to deal from strength and now their only hope is to trade one of the two QB's to the Redskins before the deadline for a high 1 pick or a 2 and a 3.
I was not a big fan of Mark Sanchez, but I believe I posted many times to grab some high 2009 picks for Anderson since Manga Boy was set on Brady Quinntineete.
Where have all the flowers gone?
Where is Frank Ryan?
Where is Gary Collins?
Endless Mike {l Wrote}:I don't think anyone would have traded a high pick for Derek Anderson, so I wouldn't worry about that 74.

He's much better at baseball.
angryty {l Wrote}:Blaming either Anderson or Quinn for the Browns problems is like blaming the guy manning the sump pumps on the Titanic. The Brown's receivers are absolute dogshit. Edwards is the only one of them who ever gets any separation and he cannot catch. When they traded "The Soldier", they traded the one weapon they had. And as bad as the receivers are, the running backs are even worse--Jamal Lewis is their feature back, which would have been great if it was 2002 and Jamal wasn't 5 years past his prime and operating on the back end of a jail sentence. Ray Ventrone is one of their receivers. Ray Ventrone. And they have the less talented Massaquoi brother.
Quinn and Anderson both looked awful, but you could have dug up Johnny Unitas, re-animated him and put him in his prime, and he would look like dog shit as well.
BTW, has there been one ex-Bellichick assistant who it has turned out well for? As I rack my brain, it seems that Charlie Weis is probably the most successful of the lot, and that my friends is all you really need to know.

Savage had multiple first round offers for both Anerson and Quinn and turned them down and numerous or too many to count 2nd and more packages.
ESPN--Mel Kiper.

McDaniels is 3-0 with Kyle Orton as his QB, so that's a triumph of sorts.
