there is one FUCKING reason for today's loss....Tranq's playcalling. How many times did he throw on first down? I feel bad for the players for having to deal with this..

We should have been calling play action, screens, and traps from the 1st quarter on. Any kind of misdirection at all to keep the ends and safeties honest.

I just looked it up. Here's a summary of our first 2 plays on all of our drives:
Drive 1: Run, Run
Drive 2: Run, Run
Drive 3: Run, Run
Drive 4: Run, Pass
Drive 5: Run, Run
Drive 6: Run, Pass
Drive 7: Run, Pass
Drive 8: Run, Run
Drive 9: Run, Pass
Drive: 10: Pass, Run
Drive 11: Pass, Pass
Drive 12: Run, Run
Drive 13: Run, Pass
Drive 14: Run, Pass
In summary, on the 1st 2 plays of our drives, we ran the ball 19 times and passed it 9 times. And we didn't attempt a first play pass until the 10th fucking drive. Gary Tranquil, ladies and gentlemen.

Tranq is absolutely horrible. While FSU was actually throwing on 1st Down, Tranq would run Harris directly into their defense every fucking drive. He needs to go if no in season then at the end of the year.

i just realized there's a gourd in her hand. i was fixated on her and noticed the dog but when 74 mentioned gourd i thought he meant pumpkin. god, its amazing what a fine lass like this will do to the eyes.

The dude is totally hopeless. I'm no football genius, but I could guess the plays with stunning accuracy. Even worse was the soul crushing pass game. We make an inexperienced QB throw on obvious passing downs only, most of the early pass plays were garbage screens or quick outs with no YAC potential, and we totally ignored the middle of the field. I can't think of a single reason why he should keep calling plays. Give him the gold watch and the steak knives and move forward.

Do you guys realize Tranq is scheduled to retire after this season so calling for his head is a waste of time? It was the wrong call from the start but I guess when he goes it will make a lot of people happy while taking heat off of the man who hired him.

74 is calling you out Caddy.You show me in print where GT was scheduled to retire or where anyone has ever, ever said that or printed that.
I never saw it here or in print. ANYWHERE!
My BC source says that GT might had been thinking it, (of course just like Joe Paterno who is 81 is thinking it ---since 1984), or BC might had wanted/suggested it lately to Spazoo to make some changes at OC at years' end ....but he was never ever scheduled to retire unless he wanted too ...
......until the last few days or the past Yawkey fistfights---- BUT now Spazoo and GT have been told
he is officially gone whether he makes a nice gravy or not.Too bad it was not the entire staff except for Loco and maybe a few others.

The play that killed me was the run play on 3rd and 18 that got us into safe field goal range. What killed me about it, though, was it was pretty much the ONLY time ALL game that we sent Harris on a run anywhere but straight up the middle. The entire game it was the only outside handoff I saw and guess what... it got us 9 FXCKING YARDS. Now, its not much AND probably a bad play call when it gives you only 4th and 9, but why couldn't we do that on 1st down to set up 2nd and 1s instead of 2nd and 9s.
I hate Gary Tranquilizer.
