What if GDF thought our B-Ball and Football programs had recruited S-As that were not representative of BC's internal, confidential expectations (as determined by GDF), at the end of Skinner's and througout Jags tenure? (The reasons could have been character or academically based). What if, because of this assessment, the directive to the coaches was to clean house and tighten the reins? Could that explain the heavy exodus of our "seasoned" players during Spaz's and at the start of Donahue's program? Might that explain why Spaz and GDF have been patiently dealt with by the insitution and Spaz still enjoys GDF's support?
This seems to be a reasonable interpretation of the last 2-3 years to me. (Certainly no one is going to come out and confirm this publicly).
I think the house has been cleaned and both the basketball and football programs have been restocked with a talented group of young S-As. Be patient, things are starting to look up. (That all being said, I can not be an Spaz apologist for the coaching carousel or poor game management).
So, in other words,

"This seems to be a reasonable interpretation of the last 2-3 years to me."
Who are these people that that seems like a "reasonable interpretation". At least call it what it is, a rationalization that took 2 years for a Spaz ball-washer to forge. While there might be a chance that something like this would happen in some bizarro college football dimension, it offends me that someone would suggest this is a very real and likely possibility after this asinine idea congeals in their head during a robo-trip. There are far too many worthless human beings on this earth and I welcome the next epidemic with open arms.
