That's good news, but the quote from Larmond following that statement is from Friday...so who knows how up-to-date that statement is.

I wouldn't close the book on this yet. Quote in article was from Friday, injury supposedly happened Saturday. Kind of hard to mix up a sore hamstring and a "serious knee injury". I hope the report is wrong, but I'm not breathing a sigh of relief yet....

This would be terrible. Without Larmond out there, Shinskie won't know who to stare down on passing downs...

One thing that might help everyone breathe a little easier is that Larmond has been sitting with that hamstring injury most of the week. I think it would be unlikely that he started practicing again yesterday and tore up his knee with nobody knowing.

Shinskie normally texts me back pretty regularly about such things and I texted him as soon as I saw this. He was probably drunk off old man beer last night when I did so, but he didn't respond. I will of course be there today and it'll be the first thing I look for/ ask.

Yup. At least he isnt a short yardage slot guy that relies on cutting so he should be pretty effective next year and the year after.
