Cambridge Police looking for Domer who robbed bank Wednesday

Image

By Brock Parker, Globe Correspondent

A middle-aged man who robbed a Danvers Savings Bank in Cambridge Wednesday may be the same man behind two Boston hold-ups.

Cambridge Police said the man fled the Danvers Savings Bank at 485 Massachusetts Ave. around 3:45 p.m. with several bags of an undetermined amount of cash.

The man, described as 45-50 years old, white, with glasses a black Under Armour hat, green T-shirt and athletic pants, entered the bank and handed a note to a teller, police said. The note made no mention of a weapon.

Cambridge Police said they believe the same man might be behind two robberies in Boston, and they are working with the FBI.

Anyone with information about the robbery is being asked to contact Cambridge Police at 617-349-3356.

Oh, well done.

I had a pretty big selection to chose from. That guy looks a bit too young to be Rick Mirer though.

Why fork out all the cash if the guy doesn't even mention or hint at having a weapon? I know they're trained not to be heroes, but come on.

He wants to know what kind to steal. He can only carry one, he's like 45-50.

It's much easier to steal money and money can be exchanged for goods and services.
