RB, TE could be out for Deacs
Wake Forest RB Kevin Harris might miss the BC game with a groin
TE Ben Wooster, who is suffering from a bulging disc, is out two weeks

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- Wake Forest coach Jim Grobe isn't sure if tailback Kevin Harris will be ready to play at Boston College.

The redshirt senior has started the first three games for the Demon Deacons (2-1), but he injured his groin during last weekend's win against Elon. Grobe said Tuesday that Harris wants to play against the Eagles on Saturday, but says it's important to have Harris healthy, not just anxious to play.

Harris has rushed for 85 yards on 17 carries while splitting time with Josh Adams and Brandon Pendergrass. He missed Monday night's workout.

Tight end Ben Wooster is suffering from a bulging disc in his back and figures to be out two weeks before being re-evaluated. Wooster has played in one game this year.

Great... we'll only lose 3-0.

Unless the Oline improves, our only hope is the swine flu continuing to spread at Wake. The general student population has been hit hard but the Fball team has been untouched.

Wooster is the 3rd string TE (even though he started last year, injuries have plagued him and he's only been in for a handful of snaps this year) and Harris is one of our three RB combo. He's technically the starter, as he goes out on the first possession, but Grobe gives all 3 rb's a possession then rides the hot hand. But like I said on another thread we've run more with WR's than RB's. Not because we're bad up the middle, it just keeps teams on their toes when they have to keep defending an orbit sweep every other play.

If Harris doesn't play it will hurt a little bit, Wooster's impact is minimal.

Oh and swine flu has tapered down, I caught it and it was awful :lame

You guys are lame. We laid an egg at Clemson. Big deal. Quit panicking. All is well.

Any chance their QB is dinged up as well and their entire DL goes AWOL?

Haha sorry Riley's fine and at full mast, all puns intended.

D-Line shouldn't be a problem for you guys though, haven't been performing at as high a level as we were supposed to so far. I think we have like 3 sacks and I think they were all against Elon last week and were coverage sacks.
