I said weeks ago that I would save my season prediction until today. So, I start the NEW season prediction thread.

We go 7-5 this year and beat FSU at home.

ND won't beat anybody by 24 points. Butch Davis is UNC's head coach. VT will kill us. FSU doesn't get up for games (If they decide to play though, we could get killed by over 30). Wake I still think we can beat. CMU- Please. And it goes without saying that our game will be a Vintage TOB WTF game.

still sticking with my original prediction as this was one of my three predicted losses.

Defense is strong, O-line will get their shit together after this week's shitfest, RBs will return to form as the OL starts doing their part, and the QB play will eventually become serviceable (think Crane-esque) .

Ask yourself, what would have to happen for the o line to get their shit together?

1. Successful offensive schemes (strategy)
2. Good play calls (tactics)
3. Execution (line coaching)

We've had a whole offseason for that - the line looked disorganized and out of shape. I'm sure Clemson has a fine defense but we made them look fucking awesome. They're not as fucking awesome as they looked against us. We've played them tough every game we've played them and we went out like a fart in the wind today.

I don't see any of those three things sorting themselves out - if it was just the line having to gel, fine, I could handle that, but they were all over the place. The strategy was crap, the tactics were poor, and the execution was dogshit. If we win more than four games, I'll be stunned.
