74 Pays Respect and Homage to the King of South Street 1970

Postby BCEagle74 on Thu Sep 17, 2009 9:20 am

I posted this to the Heights Editorial Board and they said it takes 30 minutes to post.

How to get a mentor. It was such incredible bullshit, I had to respond.

I guess kids today need someone to hold their hands, wipe their noses, and who the fuck knows.

Whatever happened to parenthood???

In case I am censored again, or denied my free speech rights, I just want the KOSS to know what he has meant to me.

******************************************************************************************

In 1970, as a 17 year old freshman living in the BC slums of South Street, I was blessed to have the Rugby players at the end of the street as our mentors, spiritual guides and lifestyle inspirations.

These guys were living legends. They were virtual god-like humans who could create incredible magic every Thursday night, and on weekends too.

I want to personally thank and pay homage and respect to them for being my mentors and spiritual guideposts in my life.

We kids at the end of South Street in 1970, well, we are forever in your debt and service.

Your article deeply touched my heart.

74, after reading that fagola puscadorian article, you need to break out your new smiley.

I responded to the article but it appears the Heights is having some sort of problems.

I also responded to the BC mail problems with...not verbatim...

...To all those who thought starting at the US Post office for long civil service career wasn't a great place after graduation from BC???
