I was shocked when I first read your title. I didn't think word was going to leak out for a few more months... certainly wouldn't want what happened last time with BC teams having to shuttle through ACC fans that they spurred... but, luckily you were only linking an old article from August that sourced that imbecile Lenn Robbins. Whew.

Figures an NCS blog would come up with this crock. They didn't want BC in the ACC to begin with. Neither BC nor Maryland would remotely consider leaving the ACC for the BE. I do wonder about this so-called secret 5 year deal that no BE football schools move for 5 years. If true and with 5 years about to pass, the BE could crumble quickly.

Under what scenario would either consider leaving the ACC? I can't think of one.

I heard BC will be invited to join the Big East and the Big Ten AND not have to give up our ACC affiliation. We will play 36 football games a year, one every 3 days. I heard the traveling costs will kill us and the NBE will bring our average payout down but that will be offset by all NBE members having to play us at Chestnut Hill.

i can not stand by and let BC join the WAC. it is a dirty conference filled with bandit schools like New Mexico State University and Boise State College. i will not stop protesting this. the higher ups need to know how we feel about this.

20 school conference would suck soooo badly for all the sports of interest. Football has no consistent matchups from year to year and basketball plays most schools only once in a season. F-that.

I asked you earlier what your username was on EI. You said you used the same username there as you do here. There is NO "eagledom" on scout. You lied about your username on EI. What possible reason could you have for doing that, other than being a merryman?
