Holy crap! I walked by Eagles Deli and it has been completely nerdified! Someone get a camera and post pictures of the new decor. It's a disgrace!

When you take them three times, it becomes very easy. However, the SAT score helped me a bit, seeing as my GPA was slightly below the average.

Therein lies the difference between now and 20 years ago. I took the SATs hungover, once. No fucking way I ever would have taken them a second time.

Yea. I blame the nerds.

Then again, to the BC middle-aged Maffia crowd (TRE, AC, and the like), we both qualify as nerds. So I guess we're to blame. Bomber is especially to blame.

True, they want to push the blame onto us.

I blame shock, he graduated after me, part of your class.

The burden is on TRbEagle to prove when and why the nerdification occurred. He likes to talk all this nerdification bs, but not once have I heard something of substance from him. Details, please, TRE, details. And don't give us a Miller v. California, 413 U.S. 15 (1973) answer.

I know this post is several days late, but don't care.

Red retired and sold O'Malley's when Jane (his daughter, the one who checked IDs for physical existence) decided to move to NY. My first job tending bar was tips-only at O'Malley's, and when I showed up for work one day the door was locked. Red had Jane call me four days later to tell me they weren't coming back. I got the impression there was a falling out between Red and his cop friends after too many youngsters started packing the place, and his less-than-legal serving policies caught up with him. It's now called Engine 14 or something like that. I went there once. It sucked.

I heard a rumor Red died a year or so ago, but I don't know where it started or whether it's true. RIP O'Malley's, and long live Red.

Don't blame :shock . He's good at fun Internet tricks and message board stuff. Wait, I think that qualifies him as a nerd. You're right.

Careful Tom, TRE is one of the few on EO without a JD or LLM. You may need to break this down into single syllable words for him.

The class of 04 still went to fucking Mary Ann's though, and that place was still packed on weeknights.

Thanks for sharing - I appreciate it as I spent some fun times there (when it was still mostly empty). It was called Reel Bar (witty name for a movie themed bar) for the first stretch after Red - it was beyond horrible and did zero business.

the details have been provided, fake counselor. i'm not doing your damn homework for you. if you want to play... you've got to PAY and if you want to see my cards, you need to call my bet!

september 1999 - the nerdification began. it was fully entrenched in may, 2004

i thought the construction of the fence in summer 2000 was the beginning of the nerdification. when did the facts change? :?

i think it's a bit presumptuous that he's going to the game. i'd put even money odds down that he was asleep in his single at 66 comm ave prior to kick off. also even money that he would be pantless/pants down to his knees. odds would come into play about whether his laptop/streaming device was logged into people porn or anime/tentacle porn

Nowadays he can log on to Tinder and pretend to be someone else to get laid.

under your plan, the lay-ee would have to see him eventually - which is where that plan falls apart completely. although based on his witty repartee with the announcer, i'd wager that he doesn't get to the meet and greet portion of the tinder date very often.

hence the assumption of tentacle porn and sad tissues strewn around his bed
