DavidGordonsFoot {l Wrote}:I said that to get 74 going, but I want the run stoppers in there. Spiller is a bonafide threat, Parker is still an unknown. I haven't seen much of him, but his completion percentage is currently under 50%. I'm comfortable focusing on Spiller and letting Parker try to beat the defense.

I think this is part of the "hidden packages", i.e. "stuff they didn't waste by putting on film for Kent and NU." I think the special packages, like Haden/Harris, bootlegs and rollouts for Tuggle, and options/QB draws will be part of the regular arsenal starting this week.
This is why they will name a starter even if they don't name a starter. Although Tuggle and Shinskie have run the same vanilla offense so far, the playbook opens if Tuggle is the QB, and you need to practice those plays. QB draws, spread option, triple option, bootleg, roll out - you won't bother if Shinskie plays.
