Yeah. I accidentally deleted it. I was moving it to the Mary Ann's forum, which I did. The problem was that it showed up both here and there, so I deleted the one from here which apparently killed the other one. Let's just call it growing pains. I promise not to do that again. It has nothing to do with my opinion or non-opinion on the subject that was at hand.

Are you going to move those threads to announcements?

Do you have the right permissions? I checked and there is nothing explicit about "announcements" so I think you're good.

I thought I did, but that may be my recollection from the interim board. I've looked all around, and I don't see where I can do this. PM me with the location.

Lets move the history thread to MAs (to keep some of that classic discussion) and then take TRE's narrative and add it to the EO Dictionary.

Wang, when moving threads you have the option to leave a shadow topic. The "shadow topic" will appear on the original board, but when selected you will move to the new destination of the thread.

I would say this should be used when the topic is popular, but needs to be moved.

BTW - Talon, sorry I deleted your post questioning the inclusion of a certain individual in the definition of the BC Guy in the Dictionary thread. Your point has been duly noted, I just wanted to put the Dictionary and History threads next to each other.

I'll get it straight. That was my first attempt at moderation. Sorry to all involved who enjoy talking about powdered wigs and wooden teeth. (I didn't actually read the thread, but that was how I envisioned it)
