It's a good thing I don't derive my sense of self-worth based upon the opinions of the voting media and coaches toward the BC football team, because if I did, I'd be putting a bullet in my brain right about now. Behind Central Michigan, Temple, and Navy? Yikes. Nothing we could do from here on out will change things much, either. Win over UNC? "Oh, it was at home." Win over Maryland? "They suck." Bowl win? "Lousy opponent." Preseason 2010? 29th.

As for where we ARE rated currently, it's not the white towels we threw in Death Valley or Lane, but the loss to ND that's the killer. One fewer turnover, and BC would be top 15--ahead of VT and/or Clemson--whether we deserved it or not. Polls are crazy.
