Correct. The refs are so stupid they didn't even realize until it was too late. The ACC does want Clemson in, but these refs are incompetent.

That replay was disgusting. Sure, by letter of the law there was no single frame that showed the ball loose and the knee down. So technically nothing to over-rule.

But in the very first frame after Spiller's knee was down you see the ball come into view nowhere near his hands. Requires reading between the lines, but there is no way that was not a fumble. If it were the other way around and Clemson was down and needed the fumble call, they definitely wouldve gotten it...
