They should be paying us to attend. How about NIL for loyal fans?

Hafley lost this team before the season started, and it clearly shows.

The stench of defeat is uncleansable and its all over this program. It’s at washington commanders levels right now, but a lack of alarm can lead us to 2000/2010’s browns/lions territory

This Virginia team has to be the worst Power 5 team to come into Alumni since Louisville in 2018 (petrino's last year)

20-3 second half victory says Jeff Hafley acquiesced and gave adjustments a try - so far so good J-man! Try that more

I watched part of the first half and none of the second. I decided to stop wasting my time. But Logitano tells me we won the second half and, as a result, the game as well.

We suck but a win's a win. I will never root for kids in our colors to lose.

Also UVA is a school for people who aspire to be Congressional aides, mediocre lawyers, or realtors in their daddy's office. And they'll all talk way too much about golf. If you're at a party and you meet a UVA grad (which you'll know because they'll tell you within seconds), extricate yourself and find a new person to talk to. Or just stand around by yourself, it'll still be more interesting.

Extremely accurate description, but you missed commerical real estate brokers and agents. The UVA mafia has dominated the business in DC for decades. It is delightful watching them squirm in the post-Covid marketplace as the large office developments on the periphery of Tysons, Alexandria, Reston and Dulles go belly up, and folks avoid the Arlington County government and shun the formerly hot orange line with Rosalyn, Clarendon and Ballston offices sit at 30% vacancy rates. When even the Brewster Millions spending habits of the Feds can’t keep the market artificially high and Amazon seems more interested in residential development for its worker drones, we are only a couple of years out from a massive implosion. Gonna be a lot of Hoos giving up memberships at WGCC, Congressional, Burning Tree, Westwood and Creighton Farms, and a lot of Hoo babies being pulled out of Potomac, Flint Hill, St Steven’s-Saint Agnes, Episcopal and Madeira. Might also be the time to be in the market for gentlemen’s weekend farms in the Shenandoah and beach monstrosities in Corrolla.

B. Great football weather;
c. We beat a terrible UVA team;
IV. Rickie Fowler: great guy, terrible golfer.

This was the whole reason to hire Hafley. If he loses these recruits it guarantees his firing, but it might not be for another 2 years if he salvages a .500 record. He should move on after the year is done to save face, have a new coach hit the portal, and I am hoping we get a Flores type. We need a hard ass and I think an alum may stay here long term.

I want someone with D1 experience and some NFL clout. Chesney also leaves at the first chance of greener pastures. I am hoping Flores doesnt have the chance with his lawsuit. I wonder what happened with that.

Edit: Just read the lawsuit update. Flores is still a dick.

Chesney is Steve Donahue 2.0. He's won at every level, but coaching in the ACC with way less talent than your opponents is a way different animal than Holy Cross, Assumption or wherever else he's coached.

We'd be lucky to have Flores and the idea that he is blackballed in the NFL remains dumb. He's already a coordinator again.

As a coordinator. Would you hire him as a HC while the suit is ongoing? I try and avoid people that file stupid lawsuits at my job.

We'll see. He needs to get that defense back in shape before he cycles through as a HC candidate.

I'm not sure how stupid his lawsuit is, I've seen far worse.
