I’m sure offensive linemen have large shins - castellanos makes running into them look easy

Can we get Taylor out and ship him back to UVA?

Impressive that we are getting curb stomped without a single turnover!

The kids are showing some fight and not giving up. That is a sign of good coaching. Probably be a good time to lock Hafley up with another extension to make sure no one steals him from us.

I am guessing :whiteflag . You have two "winnable" games coming up. No need to have your dynamic running qb throwing himself around at the end of this crap show behind backups on the o-line. :ace

He is also playing terribly and destroying his draft stock. Should’ve gone to Penn St

Obviously early, but he wasn’t down. Huge bad call. Then the awful face mask when the guy was 10 yards short of the sticks on 3rd and 18 and that was basically ball game.

I said at the beginning of the season that the 2022 team that went 3-9, that is a better BC team than the one we have right now. I still firmly believe that. Last year's team was more talented.

I certainly hope that the Holy Cross game does not wind up being the high water mark for the entire season. But I suppose that is possible. I see nothing that leads me to believe that this team can win another game.

This. Hafley knows he needs to get to 500 or he’s toast. He should be fired regardless.

This actually gives me some hope that they may win a few. Don't you have to STFU for a few hours after that Oregon game?

It’s the easiest schedule in program history. It’s pathetic how far they’re lowering the bar and they still can’t clear it

They should win the next 2. And could win the next 4 if the defense improves somewhat.

Yeah when you have a QB like that unlocking mediocrity on D is all they really need.

A mediocre Lville team scored on their first 7 possessions today. I don’t see that happening

It's amazing, our box score doesn't actually look that bad.

21-41, 295 yards passing, 3 TD, 0 INT
31 carries for 132 yards rushing, 1 TD
23 first downs, 0 turnovers
Only 7 penalties

Doesn't feel like a "56-21 in the third quarter" kind of game!...until you look at UL's box score. I don't think I've ever seen one team have completions of 34, 42, 48, 55 and 75 yards in the same game, let alone each of those going to a different receiver. Almost 600 total yards and almost 10 yards per play, even though they basically spent the entire fourth quarter idling at a green light.

Remind me, which side of the ball is our head coach's specialty?

Hafley is a nice guy who is excellent at a very limited cog role within a coaching staff like coaching 4 players and helping out with recruiting. He can handle more responsibility and has never really even been in charge of a defense. That said, our weakest part of the team this week were the DBs. Whatever… guy is what he is. He’s a poor man’s Dabo without the ability to have good assistants. He’s Jags minus Logan and Spaz. He’s every’s player BFF. He’ll never be more.

In Leahy’s entire time here, what makes you think Hafley is going to be “toast” if he’s sub-.500? What in the history of his athletics-diminishing reign gives any inkling that he’ll allow BC to eat $10mm and then commit another $4mm to get a good coach? Please say something like the BOT or alumni will step in. Want to know how deep this fantastical world you created goes.

ezeraku should've taken the $500k from whatever big 10 school offered him, if he keeps playing how he is he'll be going professional in something other than sports

According to PFF:

Missed tackles were very well spread , 15 over 11 different players

Pass coverage victims:

Amari Jackson was targeted 5x for 4 receptions and 97 yards (Hafley recruit)
CJ Clinkscales was targeted 2x for 2 receptions and 120 yards! (Hafley recruit)
Jalen Cheek was targeted 1x for 1 reception and 55 yards (Hafley recruit)
Elijah Jones was targeted 3x for 2 receptions and 46 yards (Daz recruit)

of course, in a way that's better than George Rooks who was on the field for 39 snaps and had 0/0/0/0/0 of anything lol . (Michigan needs to go on the list with Notre Dame of schools we will not take transfers from)

Cam Horsley and Sione Hala got strong grades.
Amari Jackson, Clinkscales and Cheek got the abysmal grades
Has anyone else noticed that Shitta Sillah has become a part time player. (17 snaps vs FSU, 26 vs Louisville. 54 snaps vs NIU)

My takeaway is that all future opponents will continue running outside, and targeting the CB opposite (Amari Jackson) Elijah Jones as well as the NB (Cheek, Clinkscales) position.

Sillah and all the D line gets swapped in/out every other play. I assume it’s a fallout of Rutgers 2022 last drive, but no idea. If Ezeraku & Sillah are so special, why are they pulled off the field for half the plays?
