ok fine
5-7 (2-6)
wins over Rutgers, Maine, UConn, Duke, and Syracuse (Hafley's last game as head coach at Boston College)
BC's defense ranked dead last in the ACC last year. I certainly hope with all the depth developed in the backfield that will improve this year, but I suspect it may not improve all that much. And the head coach is supposed to be a defensive guru. Not seeing it. Moreover, there are 5 brand new starters on the offensive line that (last year) played pretty offensively. I predict no improvement on that side of the ball in 2022.
This is year 3. The players are all his, not Addazio's. If he doesn't get something done this year, might be time to say goodbye. If he does no better than he did last year (and I don't think he will) then it WILL be time to say goodbye.
