Disagree. This shit doesn’t turnaround by replacing those 3 as if they are the only problems. Going back to the Henning comparison… there is a fundamental/structural issue at play here. He has to find a way to address that or else it’s just lipstick on a pig.

As an example, I’m willing to leave open the possibility that the S&C guy is great at what he does, but Hafley doesn’t force the kids to show up. Doesn’t matter who you hire… results will be the same if there is no accountability within the program.

Agreed 100%. There's an institutional/structural issue under Hafley.

i don't care who gets fired as long as some semblance of discipline replaces them. as mo'j has said in some of his missives, hafley wants to be everyone's friend to a fault - letting the team walk all over him while ignoring the limited number of rules placed upon the players by the school. expulsions, suspensions, fights on and off the field, it's ridiculous. sure, that sort of shit happens every year as kids will be kids - but not to the level that it becomes noticeable on the two deep and the sidelines.

the s&c guy is usually a meathead that can play this role perfectly - but he has to be given the authority to whip their asses into shape without being undermined by the ceo.

I agree that Hafley has to be the one to set the tone for the whole program. If he can't do that, he should be gone. BUT, I don't see him being fired this year. I really don't give a shit if they fire everyone and start from scratch, but you have to start somewhere. I think you start with the 3 I mentioned.
