Where did you hear that? I haven't seen anything, but I imagine it is some on line "journalist" with nothing to do stirring up shit while waiting for Thursday.

On your other post, Takacs is a good pick up. He'd be starting almost anywhere in the country, he just had the misfortune of having the best TE in college football (and the best TE NFL prospect of the last decade) show up. He is a really good blocker and has displayed good hands and good speed when he has had the opportunity to play. I think he will do very well here.

says the guy who believed that bc was leaving the acc because a member of the esteemed woods college staff told him it was so.

you may want to focus on your own limp wrists to ensure you can do all the proper hand motions along with the not-at-all gay soccer chants you announce to the world that you would like to fornicate you until you die

Steven Daniels who was previously at Bryant was hired as well it appears ... his title per twitter is "Assistant Director of Defensive Recruiting"

Throughout spring practice, the 1st OL has been (left-to-right): Conley Dirstine Kendall Mahogany Trapillo. I hear the staff is pleased with this unit but are worried about depth which is why they are looking into bringing in a transfer.
The 2-deep is pretty much what you would expect. Batson has been the FS with the 1st D but I think Maitre is out.
Staff is very high on Bowry and Jackson. Haven't heard anything about the other FR.
Takacs looks good; Tomlin isn't getting any run with the 1st team; haven't heard anything about Terry. Maybe Tomlin will be the team's Matthew Slater?

I was at the scrimmage yesterday. Moorehead looked very good, gets the ball out quickly and accurately. PJ looked good as usual, but the improvement in Moorehead was a real surprise. Apparently, he spent most of last season on the scout team and did not have a good understanding of the offense. ND TE transfer also looked good.

Standing on the sidelines in the Fish Field House the first player that walked by me was so small I could not understand how he got a scholarship. Then somebody told me it was Jonathan Kraft’s son.

Go Eagles!

BC does a terrible job engaging the 12 or so fans of the football team. Since meatBaum left, they are even putting in less effort than previously. Player and coach Interviews are now stored on something called Business Dropbox in MOV format files archived in zip files of around 1 GB in size. and not only are they hard to download and access on a phone or tablet, they are more or less hidden from the casual fan unless you seek them out. I knew they were still happening this spring from a contact close to the program but it wasn’t until yesterday that I found out where they were now being uploaded. Putting them on YouTube seems like the bare minimum, but leave it to BC athletics to do less than the bare minimum. Just another example of BC pulling a BC. Frustrating.

Liar! There isn’t anything close to 58 fans there.

Just a quick look through…
Moorhead has a gun. Really, NFL-like size and arm-strength. Pretty questionable just about everything else (including decision and accuracy). Could be a top player if he develops through his senior year. Or he can be Quinton Porter.

From his sideline interview, Jurk looks in the best shape of his life. Always thought he looked a little soft… not now. Looks like he’s slimmed down a bit.

and no fans on the field after the game. Is that a COVID thing? Very surprised that they were selling beer.

Maitre, Valdez, Onwuka, Krajnovic, Stoudmire, Marinaro, Franklin, Luchetti, Tate, Sillah didn't play. I don't think Arnold and Amari Jackson did either.
Allick is back to DT. Terry is a DT and Kolenge DE.

Played the first drive only and then fielded a few punts in the first half.

My first half observations:

I thought Dante Reynolds, Taiji Johnson, and Xavier Coleman stood out. Jurkovec seems healthy and looked to make good decisions other than the one play where he took a sack toward the end of the half. Morehead seems to have improved his pocket awareness but his accuracy is poor and his knowledge of the offense seems questionable as several time he threw balls where he expected a receiver to run a route that they didn’t run.

Will watch second half later.
