You are not missing much. Hafley didn't say much of anything in the videos with the media after the team lost, he's certainly not saying all that much after they win. Either he is keeping all the details as to why he thinks they won or lost to himself (because, why would he share that?) or he is not quite aware of the details. He doesn't like to show his hole cards. He likes to keep everything very quiet right up until the game. And even after.

He not quite as uncomfortable in the interviews anymore, not as long as they win. So that is a change from the past 4 weeks.

The ACC poobahs must be desperate for us to lose the next two weeks. With Florida imploding, helping FSU win tomorrow might get them to 6 wins and promote the "FSU is back" storyline. Although Wake won't make the CFP, I would imagine the conference's best result is to see them win the ACCCG and go into a New Year's Day Six bowl with just one loss.

Finally, keeping BC at 6 is good for business as it sticks us into Fenway as a home team and doesn't make anyone else in the conference deal with Massachusetts post-Christmas.

They're not worried about this week. BC's still going to Fenway at 7-5, and no one's going to be convinced that a 6-6 FSU team is "back" because they beat BC and a melting down Florida team.

Next week expect the ACC to do everything in their power to assure a Wake win.
