Of our remaining opponents, Wake is probably the best and Cuse the worst but they are all pretty meh.

As are we being the only non-triple option offense without the ability to throw a pass beyond 10 yards.

Even a cursory glimpse at the highlights of the Virginia game will show that Dennis Grosel is perfectly capable of airing it out - provided that the line blocks, the receivers catch, and the coach doesn't draw up illegal formations.

He needs to throw the ball sooner on those deep balls. A lot sooner.

Can't believe this season has gotten to the point where we are a 6.5 point dog against this team. Louisville looked like hot garbage against Ole Miss.

You had to guess we'd be here after Clemson when Hafley said that they were not going to consider anyone but Grosel for QB.

Not that I expect any credit for my foresight, but I knew in the offseason that not opening a fair competition for the QB1 spot would be a problem. If Grosel had received~50% of the first team snaps in offseason, would the throw game look a little more smooth?

Mathematically speaking, the two of them would not fit on a scooter together.

He needs to throw every ball sooner. The biggest problem he has is that he doesn’t/can’t anticipate. He waits for the receiver to be open before throwing it. And he doesn’t have the arm strength to compensate. That’s why most deep balls are underthrown. That is also why we seldom get yards after the catch. Grosel waits for the receiver to get open, throws it late, and the receiver catches it in time to get tackled. He has to trust the receivers to get to a spot and throw it to that spot. At least that’s what good quarterbacks do.

Mark it down Louisville does not cover.

Mark it down Louisville does not cover.

did your uncle jimbo tell you that? are you and denny g going to go to big gay al's big gay animal sanctuary and learn the importance of being gay leaving denny g just enough time to get back to the game to lead the team to a final touchdown to beat the spread? and then in the post game interview you and denny g admit that it's cool that we beat the spread and it's cool to be gay? just wonderin'

in other news, it sucks that the south park guys (likely comedy central) horde all the fun clips so that you can't meme them quickly in the pursuit of making fun of hansen.

other than when hansen used to train for cross country, of course... that one they let us play

I'm thinking about going to the game Saturday but I'm waiting to see what color pants they're going to wear before I make my final decision. Has there been an announcement on this?
