And we are back....

It has been much longer than that since God has mentioned Boston College football

This was a good post.

Grosel's interview looking like a Jazzercize commercial is a tough look.

I would have been happier if he had said that the number one job of the offense is to successfully complete the snap of the ball. I’d be gratified if he could consistently do that—walk before you run and all that—before talking about extending drives.

Dude looks like Olivia Newton John, which is fine because he plays quarterback about as well as her.

Keys:

1) Force Turnovers, preferably at least 2
2) Efficient passing game - at least 200 yds, at least 8yds per attempt, at most 1 INT and only in situation where it's like a punt
3) Move the ball - at least 5 yards per play

Sounds like Conley will start. Wonder if another one of the OLs well play TE this week?

Hope not, I heard overcast.
Didn't see this mentioned but this is the celebration weekend, or whatever they are calling it, for the 2020 class and a lot more of the class are coming than expected. BC is doing a mass and ceremony for the class Sunday morning.

Conley had the false starts in Death Valley coming off the bench. I'm not so concerned about him playing at home. He's not as good as Vrabel this year, but I think he'll be fine.

When we talk about an OL playing TE in short yardage, are we better off with a tackle or an interior lineman doing so? Assuming the tradeoff is mass vs. mobility, which is more valuable as a blocking TE? I would have assumed mass for a blocking TE, but that's when looking at TEs specifically. Since all OLs meet the mass threshold, I guess it's best to just take the best blocker and not overthink things.

Your comments in the Clemson thread killed me. I have to think someone like Delaportas looks at the separation the receivers are getting and sees how with hard work he can really exploit those openings. Same goes for younger recruits at QB. Moorhead too, although it sounds like he's really raw. I can see why they're riding Grosel if the others are too raw or not talented enough at this point, but they really have had to limit their offense to fit Grosel.
