Tennessee, which lost to Pitt, is absolutely destroying Mizzou. Oh my.

Just demonstrates than BC has yet to play anyone, and even an unlikely win today will very possibly not put them in top 25.

That’s a bridge too far. They beat Clemson in Death Valley they’ll be in the top 25. Doesn’t matter if Clemson sucks, their reputation still carries weight. Especially with what Georgia is doing to Arkansas.

It really is remarkable how badly Jack Coan sucks at playing QB. It’s not just that he is as mobile as a glacier. For a 5th year senior he is remarkably lacking in field sense, pocket presence and touch on his throws.

Definitely. When your offense is responsible for the only offense the other team has managed, that is a big, big problem. I sometimes wonder what a guy like Hafley could do here with the talent Notre Dame brings in every year.

ND loses at home. They’ll win the rest of that schedule and then get goatse’d in the playoff.

I have an irrational hatred for ND’s turf field and Kelly Gold helmets. It shouldn’t have any impact in my life… but, both are just so fucking terrible (especially when you consider the greatness of what it replaced).

Slow your roll there. Wake Forest won (again) and is now 5-0. Oregon and Stanford are tied going into the 4th. Oklahoma is up by 10 with 12 minutes to play. And Georgia and Alabama need no words from me. At the moment, the only "independent" who may control their own destiny to get into the playoffs are a bunch of 24 year old return LDS missionaries playing for the University of California @ Provo. That BYU team (as evidence against three Pac-12 teams) is twice as good as the one that beat Michigan in 1984.

Cincinnati fucked them, hard. Any logical argument that could be made to give Notre Dame a slot in the playoffs would only create 10 other logical arguments for the Cincinnati Bearcats to take that slot. The Irish are going to need quite a bit of help to get in this year.

This word need not apply when it comes to the perception, ranking, quality, etc of notre dame. I don’t care one way or the other but a one loss notre dame team is always making the playoff and a two loss team will be in consideration. You keep focusing on those Mormons though.

Well Oregon is out now. So hey, what are we looking at?

  • Michigan?
  • Kentucky?
  • BYU?
  • Cincinnati?
  • Wake Forest??????

Obviously Oklahoma and Alabama will draw a couple slots. But I don't think Notre Dame has a chance if Cincinnati keeps winning. But hey, maybe you'll be right? Its possible tonto.

News from out west. Boise State sucks this year. Likely the dynasty is coming to an end.

Maybe you just need a different QB. We know of one who has perpetual eligibility.
