Yeah that was, that was quite the game. Nerve-racking and insane. If nothing else, winning like that is going to make this place pep up a bit and have some really interesting commentary for our next opponent, that's for damn sure.

Alright, pluses and minuses. First the good stuff:

• I happen to think that Mizzou is probably the best team (offensively) that BC will face all year. BC should not have to score 41 to win another game for the rest of the season. So its good that they survived that offensive onslaught.
• The running game is legitimately excellent. The offensive linemen are better at making holes than the much heralded 2014 offensive line (the only think Spaz ever gave this team of any value.)
• I stopped cursing Grossel after his first pass went for the INT. The rest of the game he at least "got it done."
• Not that is matters any but the team will finally crack the top 25 on Monday or Tuesday. BC is as "legit" as Wake Forest is.

Bad stuff? Oh jeez where to begin:

• BC's defense is not just bad, its awful. It very well may be the worst defense in the ACC. Yes that is possible. BC can not stop the run and forget coverage against the pass. There was none. And there was no pass rush. Nothing. Zip.
• No "defensive" adjustments were made at halftime and of course, they couldn't make any. I mean you can make lemonade out of lemons, what do you do with spoiled milk? So lets not expect any defensive schemes or changes this year, they just don't have any personnel
• They didn't have many penalties but they were extremely costly ones. BC is very fortunate cooler heads prevailed in overturning that "targetting" call
• There is so much film here for the ACC opponents to analyze. BC threw the whole kitchen sink at Mizzou. I don't think they have anything left to hide.

This game went exactly as I expected it would, very high scoring, very explosive, very heart attack-esque, no defense at all (on either side) and may be standard operating procedure for the rest of the season. There is no one tailback on this team that I am saying we need in order to keep things going offensively. That was ALL (all of it) on the offensive line. They get an A+. Actually they get better than an A+. They score a perfect 100. And they have to keep scoring the perfect 100 for this team to continue winning, that is for damn sure.

Today was a great day for BC.

But there are no haters here. I feel the love.

I also just watched that Clemson-NC State game. There will be a ranked team playing at Clemson next week. It will not be Clemson. I'll further add that this Clemson team, this team is the "most-mortal" Clemson team that the program has had since 2005. BC and went down to South Carolina and got it done that day with an incredible defensive effort.

BC can beat this Tiger team. Doesn't mean they will. But they can. Its very possible.

Hafley keeps telling them "guys, Missouri had a good defense"



Maybe he's just being nice and respectful because that is the right thing to do. Maybe he sees something in Missouri's defense that none of us saw.

It might have taken us 3 extra minutes in line. I'm guessing Domingo would commit suicide if he had to ever go to Disney.

In this poll, the only ACC team in the top 25 is NC State. 4-0 Wake Forest gets as much respect as BC does.

Missouri let Army drive right down the field in just over a minute, to kick the game-winning field goal in the Armed Forces Bowl.

What a shame for that to happen to such an outstanding person like Eliah. I hope Hafley is recruiting St. Louis' Catholic schools hard.
