Does anyone know how the NESN+ thing will work next week if you're not in New England?

This Clemson-Georgia game is really boosting Jurk’s draft stock. JT Daniels looks like NFL version Chase Daniels and DJ U…whatever looks like the giant homeless man’s version of NFL Marcus Mariota. And Dabo staring down the barrel of three straight prime time Saturday night losses.

UCLA-LSU is much better. Both teams are flawed but taking risks and going back and forth.

Does anyone know how the NESN+ thing will work next week if you're not in New England?

On DirecTV, the NESN+ games show up one channel after NESN -- 628-1. I think they are supposed to be blacked out outside New England, but I've definitely seen times (in California) where they are not. It depends on who owns the national rights to the game, if anyone, and also if the people are diligent with enforcing the blackout.

These games, even when blacked out on NESN+, are typically shown on the ESPN College Extra channels -- 788-793 for football. Right now these all say "To Be Announced" for next weekend, but the games are usually listed in the guide by mid-week.

I am pretty sure all NESN+ games last year (including basketball) were shown on one or the other.

Can't speak to other TV carriers or streaming stuff...

(Also, was at the UCLA/LSU game last night. Mixed emotions about being in such a packed crowd with Covid variants still around, but so much fun to be part of an enthusiastic game atmosphere again!! Hope fans mostly are careful and this turns out to be a great season!!)

The reason I am worried about outside the region and not being on ESPN plus is because UMass is the rights holder. I don't think they have a deal with ESPN.
