This helps.
Classes don't start until 1/28 so we have plenty of time to add at our most needed positions: LB & DE, for guys that want to enroll this semester.

A TE would be nice as well.

on a serious note though, not much depth behind spencer witter, Charlie Gordinier, and possibly Danny dalton if he comes back. Basically luchetti and a bunch of other guys with not much playing time at all.

TE: Witter, McQuarrie, Luchetti, Lillis, Gordinier. Wittier (a former PWO but now on scholarship) was the backup last season and was in about 50% of the offensive snaps. McQuarrie began the season as the #3 but was replaced by Dalton midseason. Luchetti missed the entire season with an injury (not sure what but I know he had surgery). True FRs Lillis & Gordinier did not play and one of them was on the inactive list most of the season.

Not news.
We are in a world of hurt at the LB position.
eh i think the FSU transfer slots there and assuming health (risky), i think that's a step up from both mcduffie and richardson. throw in the temple transfer, bryce steel, and some of the young kids step up i think we'll be alright
i'm more concerned about the front 4
I really don’t think we’re losing a ton with Richardson and McDuffie. Announcers loved them because they made a lot of tackles
I'm sure their backups are beter
Richardson & McDuffie were our two best players on D. Were they Luke Kuechly? No, but he wouldn't have looked so great dodging DLs. Our returning LBs logged a total of 27 snaps in 2020 (Sparacio - 22, DeNucci - 5). Our other returning LBs (Theobald, DePalma, Davis, Smith) only played special teams or not at all. We have the Temple transfer and the FRs coming in but we could really use another transfer.

He was a pretty big recruit out of high school... out after 1 season? strange.

A wise decision and very good news.
Still waiting to hear from Levy, Rayem, Onwuka and Carlson.
