Departing from the grannies discussion, ASU is currently beating Arizona 70-7 and there is still 8 minutes left in the game. I am old enough to remember when Kevin Summerlin was considered a coaching genius and now he has gone full Ty Willingham. It just goes to show that with the exception of a small number of football coaches (Dabo, Saban, Meyer), sic transit gloria mundi is a universal truth in college football.

I have to agree with angrydick.

I mean this whole thing is ridiculous. Men who go and lop their penis off, they have 41% suicide rate. And no one gives a fuck. And psychiatrists are too pussy (for fear of being cast out from the LBTGQABCXYZ community) to mention the facts about suicide. These young men need mental health therapy, tolerance, and understanding NOT surgery and acceptance.

Exactly right. It is not compassion to humor the delusions of a person with mental illness.

Pretty amazing to see the display of anger from the Vanderbilt players at the continued use of Fuller. After her kick they surrounded her and began violently slapping her hands and her helmet. They all seemed to be screaming at her too. Seems the players are in full revolt with such a public display of disapproval.

Yes, because in the American version of the social credit scoring system, failure to celebrate with sufficient vigor the faux-achievements of the supposedly oppressed classes is punished with a public shaming and ritual apology session/humiliation, and possibly diminished career prospects.

Here's a question for you, Mr. Dumbass. Do you think the North Korean women hysterically crying and screaming along the route of Kim Jong Il's funeral procession were doing so because they were genuinely upset?

Yes, and the 10 guys opted out did it for no reason whatsoever. Also, Vandy fired the coach with one game left because everyone was happy with the freak show he created and the players were pleased as punch with her presence and halftime speech.

The AD got trapped, pure and simple, by the media. Also, the extra point looked like a kick that might be made in a Class C, Westchester high school football game. That’s sort of not fair, because the kid in Pleasantville can actually elevate it.

They (they = SJWs) are not going to stop until a girl gets killed or paralyzed on the gridiron. And then it will be too late.

I found this just recently. Its worth 15 minutes of your life.

Katelyn's single biggest liability here is her height. She is 4'10" competing in something that ASSUMES you are a man who is 5'9" or taller. So Captain America here had to give her a boost to jump up to the highest bars to spin around them and leap from them. But even with that height restriction, she did an awesome job! She got over that 6'5" wall on her own, twice. Nicely done young lady.

I don't think any of us would dispute that Katelyn Ohashi is certainly within the top one-hundredth of the top 1% of all female athletes in the world. Yes, there are a hundred million female athletes but take any 10,000 of them at random, Katelyn would probably be number one (up there with Serena Williams, Miesha Tate, and half of the WNBA.) She is that athletic. And yes, she just didn't have the upper body strength to spin herself around on the high bars. It just didn't happen. And this course (extremely hard that it is) is probably what we expect of Murt and pretty much every one of our Marines.

She did a damn fine job, but no matter how hard she is trying here, one of the finest female athletes in the entire fucking world can't do what a standard male US Marine can do. And by the same token, you can not ask even the finest female athlete in the entire fucking world to play Power-5 level college football against young men who are all carved out of wood.

There are combat marines that are women. Only 20 or so but they were just recently allowed to join. It wouldn’t surprise me to see this number grow as their are women now a days that take lifting seriously enough they look like dudes.

As for a female kicker getting injured, I think they are safe with the rules protecting kickers.

My guess is yes because of covid wiping out that room 2 weeks ago or whenever it was.

I didn’t watch the game though so you are asking these other questions to the wrong person. I just saw the XP video that someone shared.

I had to edit my post. Katelyn was competing in the male obstacle course which is why she would have failed. But my point still stands. I'm guessing those 20 or so women Marines, they are very tall for women in order to pass this course.

And its not that she couldn't serve in the US military. Katelyn is a far better athlete than these two women (both of whom are outstanding athletes, earning a professional living from their physical fitness) and they could both be sailors.

Its just that in some very rare, special, certain things, no matter how athletic you are, women just have no business competing with men. And power-5 college football is one of those very rare circumstances. Its just not a good idea Hansen.

I don’t even know where to begin with this breathtaking stupidity. You have out IB’d yourself IB.

It is a graduation requirement of The Basic School to pass the “Double-O,” that same obstacle course, done twice, back to back. I guess I just imagined all the women in my TBS class passing it.

Someone who couldn’t even pass an imaginary Annapolis fitness test should probably reserve judgement.

In a shitty year, gimmick or not, it's a feel good story. she had to learn to kick a football in 2-3 weeks and she actually pulled it off when surely there was a lot of pressure on her to make it after all the attention being drawn to her. I giver her credit for being the first in something; it's more than most people can say in their lives.

What were the ratio of men to women who passed? If it doesn't represent the American population (51.1% majority women), IB just waterboarded you in a logic box.

I'm not sure which part of graduation requirement was confusing for you, but the pass rate among females was 100%. It's also a requirement for boot camp, meaning that the roughly 14,500 women in the USMC have all passed the O-Course at least once.

Since the USMC population is obviously not representative of the US population, that argument is almost as dumb as IB saying that since Katelyn Ohashi can't complete the O Course, women can't play college football.

Regardless of what other arguments exist in this thread, women can't play college football. They can participate, but they can't play.

You know its funny, I have a lot of friends who went into the Corps in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 and the few who are still in all complain about how dumbed down TBS has become. I guess Murt inadvertently gave credence to that contention. There is no way there should ever be a 100% pass rate on anything, but I guess we are at the cake and ice cream stage of our national decline. I really wish we'd focus on winning wars or at the very least preventing our naval ships from routinely colliding with another before we set about destroying unit cohesion, turning off the demographic group (conservative white males) that serves in the combat arms at an exponentially higher rate than other ethnic, gender or political demographic, and sacrificing our standards in the name of diversity. The Chinese are positively dumbfounded by our staggering idiocy in this regard. We have developed an incredible amount of tactical proficiency over the last 20 years, but our strategic vision, values and focus are some incredibly myopic it boggles the mind.

The only historical parallel I can find is the Byzantines telling the Anatolian Greeks (the back bone off their imperial army) to fuck off and basically cutting them loose in favor of a shift in strategic focus towards the Black Sea. Within fifty years the Ottomans controlled Anatolia and those farm boys who had once conquered most of North Africa and had spent hundreds of years successfully defending the frontiers of the Empire from Persians, Arabs, Seljuk Turks, the Holy Roman Empire, Vikings, the Rus and the Mongols had converted to Islam and had become the Janissaries--the most fearsome and effective soldiers in the Ottoman Army. Within a hundred years they had destroyed Byzantium and erased it from the Earth. Murt will be fighting a last stand against the ChiComs at the Presidio while all the deplorable grunts laugh at him from the safety of their new country of Jesusland.

African Americans make up 47.8 million of the U.S. population with 222k active duty => 0.48% of the A-A population.
Whites, non-latino, are 234 million with 900k active duty => 0.38% of the White/Not-Latino population.

So much for that narrative.

Wrong again stupid. Looking at the combat arms. It is overwhelmingly white with Latinos coming slightly above their percentage of the population. But hey, if you had a brain in your head you could Google the studies the Pentagon has done because they are very concerned that African-Americans have abandoned the combat arms, there is literally an article from West Point that comes up first entitled African Americans Aren’t Branching the Combat Arms—while the left wing accusations that they were overrepresented in the combat arms in Vietnam was not actually true, they were represented equal to their proportion of the population. Nowadays, they are heavily over represented in rear echelon roles—logistics, transport, maintenance, clerical, etc., but heavily underrepresented in SF, Infantry, Flight, etc. Probably to be expected since we are indoctrinating African American children with the idea they are perpetual victims and America sucks.

Anyway, best of luck fighting with an army of clerks. That will work out for you. Stupid Fuck Face.

I have heard the argument made many times, however, given that their jobs involve getting shot at, I think they have a right to be called war fighters. I mean if a flying bus co-pilot like Tammy Duckworth is Audie Murphy because she failed to do her job in Iraq, I’ll give lots of love to the attack bird guys, along with the A-10s and F-18s.

I love Cobras more than most and owe some A-10 pilots a beer after they dropped a couple 500 pounders onto some Talibs for me at less than 250 meters, but it’s the assault support guys who really get their hands dirty.
