Yes we know the defense sucks. They also got the offense the ball three times and led to a FG and two turnovers. But pleas talk about punts again it is awesome.

No it doesn't. This team was supposed to suck. They played well against 3 top 10 teams and got blown out by a bad VT team due to sloppiness.

This team will be good real soon.

Agreed. But, this game feels more like the VT game than it does Clem or UNC. It should also be pointed out that Texas State and Cuse were terrible and we didn’t play well.

Agreed. They're sloppy as shit for a team that can't afford it.

The block on onside kick rule as interpreted today fucking sucks. Two recovered onsides kicks. Two.

Refs have been calling that blocking rule all year. I’m not sure if it’s a new rule or a recent emphasis on an old rule, but it really sucks.

did max roberts intentionally bump into the official or was it another ACC fuckover special handed out by the refs?

As I saw it, the ND player crossed into the 10 yard “neutral zone” and initiated contact.

Lack of athleticism by the defense on the edge was glaring today. Any play to the boundary seemed to be about 8 yards. Hard to win when the opposing team can run the ball that easily.

Yeah, hope Hafley and the staff can get p5-level DLinemen to transfer. The incoming recruits won't be enough. The current Dline grad transfers can only provide so much, and only seem to do ok against teams that are avg or shitty.

Louisville and UVA up next. The team HAS to bounce back, win both games and win to get 7, then win whatever shitty bowl to get to 8 wins. That's the only attainable goal left.

Remember during the telecast, they said that Jurkovec was psyching himself up by looking at his ex teammates social media, looking for any extra motivation. No way he was sitting this game out. I'll say this, he's a tough motherfucker to play in this game with that injury against that defense.

The D did enough to ensure everyone learned a nice life lesson. This makes us stronger as a team. I hope we lose every game like this. Then again, I actually care about the kids and what they learn out there. Some selfish fans only care about the result.

They forced 3 turnovers that the offense turned into a FG and two turnovers in a 14 point game. I know math is hard but you can try.

Kid takes hit as well as any QB out there. He’s been outright terrible since the first half of Clemson. It’s been so bad, that a separated shoulder would explain a lot.

Btw... I will never understand the hiring of the OL coach or this year’s use of David Bailey (or lack there of).

All this obsession about Jurk and the offense when the defense never made a stop all game. The failure of the offense to capitalize on turnovers was a huge issue, but honestly....the defense was awful.

The future on offensive is bright: all of the stars are young. The defense without the graduate transfers is a huge concern. We have a fistful of promising DB recruits, but our LBs and DL are ridiculously thin. Lamot got a lot of play today and was not good...and that’s being generous. The DL would be a disaster without the graduate transfers: what do we have next year???

Positives are that Hafley has a lot of work to do. People questioning the coaching forget how bad our coaching had been. Lots of work to do, but we are on the right track. This was a 4-5 win team pre-season. 7 wins is a reality...that’s not a bad thing

If you want to man block use Bailey. In a zone blocking scheme he doesn’t make sense
