Syracuse Week

#39 BC v Cuse.
Cuse may be the worst team on our schedule but often they are a different team against us.
We open as 13.5 favorite.

I know the last 2 wins at the Dome were run heavy with Dillon running ppl over.

I just hope Jurkovec airs it out and gets 450+ yds passing. Hit em with play action, just like last yr.
You what?

I hope we can find slightly less back-breaking times to commit the weekly 10+ penalties

Haven't figured that out yet either. In-laws may be getting a visit from their grandkids around 1:45 on Saturday.

What about espn+ or espn3 ?

I would imagine it’d be blacked out in any NESN coverage area, but maybe not.

I'm hoping we can have a more stable split in terms of quality of play over the two halves. We've made a habit of having one very good half, and one meh half this year.

My take (hope) is that the first couple of games was nerves and breaking in a new QB and blocking scheme.

Hopefully we can come out confident and have a complete game against an over-matched opponent. Maybe see what some of the back OL and LBs look like for a couple of series. We will need them next year

YES had a replay of our game on tonight. Rewatching it, one thing that struck me is how in control of his emotions Hafley is. Compared to what we were used to with Daz throwing temper tantrums on the sideline, Hafley takes everything in stride and you can tell he is always thinking two or three steps ahead. I noticed it on the couple of turnovers we had. Each time they cut to him on the sideline, he was waving the D off the field and getting the O out on the field. The guy is focused on nothing except putting the team in a position to win.

I saw Hafley talking/reprimanding/whatever CJ Lewis after the retaliation. He wasn't heated but he prob let him have it somewhat.
