I'd feel better about this game if they were coming off the GT hangover as opposed to the Cuse close call.

We aren't winning this game. They will be scoring on 75% of their possessions. I expect nothing from the D.

From offense, I'd like to see is how Jurk performs under the pass rush (which he will certainly face) against DBs who will Pick6 any errant throws. I'm also interested to see how our receivers (including TEs) do this week against elite defenders. They have been wide open every game. Their performance has been among the most pleasant surprises this year. And... to the most disappointing surprise... I'd like for the OL to NOT give up a jailbreak on every play. I'd also like to see David Bailey have a couple of carries specifically designed to hit a seam.

After the Cuse game, Clemson is going to be looking to put up 60. So, 31 point dogs feels right, as they won't be calling off the dogs while still up 3 TDs.

33.5 dogs last year according to pick'em. that was with grosel as well, what a disaster.

the line was so much better last week, not sure if that was product of improvement or playing GT.

Pretty much agree with everything you said here. The way I look at it, there is nothing that BC can do that will disappoint me on Saturday. All they can do is surprise or delight me. If they get wiped out, well, that is okay. #1 team in the country.

They aren't keeping this close without a performance good enough to win. I'll give that 3%.

Otherwise, they are getting blown out. The new offense is not designed to hang in there.

I love that the game will be nationally televised on ABC. Obviously, that is all respect for Clemson. But its still nice.

I just hope they try their best, eliminate the turnovers, and cut down on the penalties.

Agree (except the part about our receivers being wide open), and Dabo was pissed about the questions he was getting in the post game presser. The fact that it is a nooner is somewhat helpful.
It will be an accomplishment if we stop their starting offense once. Even with the 5 transfer, JH is not a miracle worker and can do only so much with what he inherited on D from the Dazler. I am just hoping our offense can score enough to keep it interesting into the 3rdQ.

We are going to lose, but it'll be more and more like the Miami home game in Coughlin's 1st yr. I think it'll be 35-31 Clemson.

I see a 28 point loss, particularly because we’re on the road and Clemson has every incentive to run up the score.

56-14 with 8 minutes left. 56-28 at the final gun as Jurk rallies the troops against Clemson’s 3rd and 4th teams for the back door cover. Also predict Travis Ettiene gets dinged up in the 3rd Q, leading Dabo to pull the starters early to avoid injuries.

Heisman clinching performance by Trevor Lawrence, something on the order of 26-29, 379 and 4 TDs, no INTs and Etienne goes north of 150. Basically a no contest that will expose the myriad of BC weaknesses on both sides of the ball. A life lesson for an overwhelmed team that will only get better going forward.

Of course caveating this by saying that our defense lacks athleticism but Clemson’s WRs, especially missing Ross, aren’t as otherworldly as they have been in years past. I still don’t think we can keep up with them all game, but I’m hoping it won’t be as big a gulf as in the past couple years. ETN still scares me, and Lawrence is obviously really good so it probably won’t matter either way.
