I actually think this defense is having a great year with a paucity of talent. We will see if it last, but how can people be upset with how the defense has performed for most of the season?

To fumble twice in VT territory and only be down 3-0 is a good result after 2 possessions each.

Agreed. I was harsh on them early on but now that we have a good idea of what type of unit it is, I think they are performing well. They also seem to be improving.

Down 3-0 but if you read this thread without watching the game you would think we were down a helluva lot more.

So......who fumbles this drive?

Not upset about the points against, but then again, we’ve only played one great offense. The missed tackles are maddening.

Our offense is having their way with the VT defense.

Offense is moving the ball easily both on the ground and in the air. Our offense is in a similar mode to the Matt Ryan years where a negative play on 1st or 2nd down isn't a death sentence because of the passing game (that play to Flowers that lost yardage SUCKED and it was obvious as hell the ball was going to him).

OL has been tremendous on run and pass blocking. That’s a huge reason for the frustration. They are dominating.

Fair enough. But on the flip side the defense kept them in and didn't let it hurt.
