Depth chart is out.

Ethon Williams is off it.
Levy and Jones are on it.
Brandon Barlow is staring over Shitta Sillah.

Levy and Jones were on the Pitt depth chart but it does sound like they will he will play. Did Williams get hurt in the Texas St game?

Exceeding expectations )

Pundit on youtube predicted BC 2-9 for season

But already 3 wins

3 or 4 more wins is possible and finish 7-4 is very respectable

almost tied NC a very good team and ranked high

No way if Daz was still the coach

A win over the Hokies would be awesome

On Packer and Durham, they just said that Tim Hasselbeck will be part of the crew calling the game.

3 of the last 3 games took over 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete. If Hafley can't cut the running times of these games down to a crisp 3 hours, how can he expect the fans to support him?

You can't be serious.

Although you have posted this twice now so I am starting to really wonder if you might be.

Running the ball 50+ times certainly keeps the game clock moving. But if throwing the ball 35-40 times a game means that we get more Ws and energizes our alumni, despite the game taking almost 4 hrs? I'll take it.

The Funishment is messing with you. Just tell him to start the boycott.

I’m all for shortening the length of college football games in general. It’ll be a miracle if this game ends before Midnight.

No, we want the Funishment to start it. epstein won't get it and will follow regardless. Two birds ... one stone.

I can understand being underdogs this week, but it's now up to 13 points. Seems high, but not sure how much longer BC can have success without being able to run the ball. And of course, Herbert killed us last year.

Game outcomes and/or score predictions?

For fuck sake, we actually have a decent team for a change and all everyone wants to talk about is conspiracy theories, the election, and screwing wang's sister (not because they like women, but rather that they can be eskimo brothers with Christopher Huang). Do you homos even like football?

VT's pass defense is not very good so we may not even need to run the ball. I think Hooker will be starting at QB for VT and he was highly rated recruit, but hasn't done much at the college level. Once he came into the game last week, their offense clicked. I think this is going to be a tight, high scoring game. As a BC homer, I'll say we win 38-34.

EDIT - VT's run defense is not very good either, so BC's run game might work a little.

Their running game scares me. I remember the Thursday Night game when we unveiled the football building plans and VT then proceeded to run the ball down our throat almost every play in the 2nd half.

Eagles 33-30

BOOM-erhi wins it as time expires.

(He will have missed the go ahead extra point with 3 minutes to go in the 4th)

I’m trying not to conflate my confidence against this point spread v. winning a game on the road against a very potent offense. Our LB play and tackling from the second level has been poor all season. I think we’ll need to be both good and lucky on D to win.

This. I still am perplexed by the complete absence of success running the ball. As of right now, the fact that 4 OL players were returnees was hype over substance. Seems that the RB's are more than serviceable, so the fault has to be on the interior, and it has to catch up with them unless they can turn it around. 10 men in the box only goes so far as an excuse, especially with a guy like Jurkovec, so maybe the play calling needs to change up a bit too to exploit that. But Jurk I think has been sacked more than every ACC QB but one (Divito)...so line has some issues.

While I think generally the O-Line is not well-conditioned b/c Covid, now with the pass protection issues I think it’s moreso the O-Line coaching. Ostensibly shuffle would have addressed conditioning issues by reorienting the players to fit stretch runs, RPOs, & pass protection.
