Whoever is coaching the defense gets some credit, and the offensive plan is just inconsistent, it is not bad. They need to knock off the idea that they are going to rush for 6 yards on first down in a 24-21 game.

Pitt’s run defense is too good; we need to lean heavily on the pass here with a few runs thrown in to keep them honest.

They should run the ball in situations where the defense doesn't know it is coming. They also need to coach up the screen game, because they need better execution in that. They can legit spread it around, steal chunk runs and go deep at times.

I’d do a draw up the middle on 3rd and 15 and hope you can get it close enough to go for it on fourth down.
Earlier HB draw was productive in the first half.

That was a really, really costly drop. I understand that in most games either team can say “if a few plays broke the other way...” but for BC there have been some bad, consequential unforced errors today. The offense has evaporated since the long strike to Zay.

You could literally see his brain freeze. He couldn’t decide what to do after scrambling out of the pocket, pump faking it, and then got gang tackled.
