Everyone shitting on the D but I think they’ve played hard and done well against a talented UNC offense.
The BC offense can’t CONSISTENLY move the ball. 227 yards passing, 27 rushing so far.

The good: defensive adjustments at halftime have worked. Yeah the penalties have been terrible but you can’t accuse the D of being passive. They have really limited the damage.

However, because UNC has still been moving the ball into BC territory the average field position this half has really sucked balls. It’s stifling the playcalling. They need some YAC for once.

One thing I will say as we bash McDuffie: if we are gonna play 2 LBs then the safeties need to do a much better job against the run. Watching Richardson and McDuffie take on a lock and seeing the S 5 yards downfield isn’t helping
