Which schedule is tougher? The original one or the one announced today. Discuss.

this is a much tougher schedule. but I like it (all ACC games) so I certainly hope they play it. it remains to be seen if the season will even happen. no fans is the correct thing to do but play the games and televise. still, it feels like the ACC is just being the battered wife/bitch submitting entirely to the whims of the drunken Irish that is Notre Dame.

i think we're going to see the ACC & SEC move to 9 game conf schedules going forward. even in the ess eee cee and tuscaloosa people aren't showing up for the 3 bloodbaths

I would prefer 10, but 9 will do. I’ve had enough of 33% of homes games being MAC and FCS.

Well, Ohio and @Duke, BC has a shot at being undefeated going into their early bye. That said, I just want a season this year.

Don't care who it is as long as we get an opponent in week 1 to prepare for the ACC slate.

EDIT. Umass is scheduled to play Troy on 9/12.

It appears that Troy and UMass both have an open date on 9/19. Perhaps Troy would agree to push back a week so UMass could play BC on 9/12.

UMass has asked BC for a game. I expect it will happen.

Go Eagles!

The ACC should stick to a 10 game schedule or make 11 all in-conference.

At this point, I assume BC is not even attempting to find someone for 9/12. As best I can tell, BYU, App. St, FAU, and Arkansas St. would be only options.

I think the Ohio Valley Conference is playing this year (FCS). Any game on 9/12 is better than no game.

I would have preferred to see a schedule that was more cognizant of the Covid Chinese virus, while reflecting rivalries. BC's season should be a best-of-seven with Notre Dame, followed by a best-of-five or best-of-seven with Syracuse. If the ND series is a sweep or if it is concluded in 5, the Syracuse series would be a 7 game set. But if BC-ND went 6 or 7 the Syracuse series would be a best-of-five.

Texas St on 9/26. BC will win but it will challenge the DBs with a Holgorsen-style offense.

Is Bob Stitt the OC there? I think Spavital is the HC. Should be pretty fun to watch.

Matchup predictor has BC at 55%. Also, Duke plays at Notre Dame the week before and we have a bye. They won’t have film on us, but they’ll have a game under their belt.

You know it's going to be a different kind of season when the Labor Day prime time game is BYU v. Navy.

This game appears to be a wipeout.

At least they played it. Every game played is a victory in the face of the "shut it down" crowd.
