While I revel in the misery of the team formerly known as the Redskins, this is a big nothing burger from the WaPo. Apparently, a couple of execs and their annoying play by play guy Larry Michael sexually harassed some of the smoke shows that were hired to work in sales and marketing. The Redskins settled with 14 of the 15, who can’t talk on the record about it because of NDAs in the settlements and all three execs were canned—with Michael getting the heave ho yesterday. Neither Snyder or Bruce Allen we’re implicated in the sexual harassment allegations and the only thing relating to Snyder is that he made fun of his Sales VP—who was a guy—for having been a male cheerleader in college, which seems entirely reasonable to me.

On the scale of Redskins debacles, this is pretty low. Seems like the WaPo hyped the story because they thought the NFL would force the Redskins to waive the NDAs. As that will apparently not happen, the story falls flat and will be forgotten when the Skins announce their new name.

Next they'll be telling the Edmonton Eskimos to change their name. This is going too far. twenty years ago the CFL had 9 teams called the Rough Riders. The Ottawa team changed theirs to the Red Blacks, an obvious cave in to pressure from Canadian minority groups. But now doesn't it appear that the name makes Red lives matter more than black lives matter?

The only solution is for every CFL team to change their name back to the Rough Riders.

Meh. It seems that you have Larry Michael being a scumbag and a 15 year old, uncorroborated allegation that Snyder tried to help the team doctor get laid. And Dan Snyder is an asshole-which everyone already knew.

Snyder's bigger issue is that his minority partners want him to buy them out or sell to them. As Fred Smith of Fed Ex seems to be the ringleader on that move, Snyder needs to be careful as Smith definitely has the juice with the rest of the league owners to possibly force Danny out. Snyder apparently doesn't want to pay them the roughly billion dollar share of the team Smith et al. own and the League is embarrassed that the minority partners want out. That is far more likely to kill off the Dan Snyder era than what the WaPo has produced so far.

That article says very little. It is interesting that the cheerleader with the solicitation accusation appears to be the same woman as the third woman that claimed Jeremy Piven assaulted her.

I called this one. Why do they call them the Edmonton Elks? Isn't Elk the plural of Elk? Besides, they should have just changed the name to the Edmonton Exeskimos.

What happened to Cesspool Davis? I thought he was a starter in Ottawa?
