Odd choice: a boring win against against an unranked team in a meaningless Bowl. Also, reminds of us of what might have been.

I vote for 1993 loss at Northwestern as the worst ever.

Those were pathetic Northwestern teams back then. They went 2-9 that year. Their only other win was against Wake Forest. Also 2-9 that year.

Although if we had rolled into the finale 9-1, off a win over number one, mostly likely ranked in the top 6 or 7, to lose to WVU at home like we did would have been dramatically worse to look back on.

The NW game was TC's worst loss but in the end, it made little difference. We were going to the Sugar Bowl if David Greene didn't fumble.
