Too many bowls?

What happens if not enough teams become bowl eligible? Do the bowls just not get played that year? Do they close up shop because of the costs they incurred up to that point can't be made back in ticket sales? Should we expect a few bowls to declare bankruptcy after this year due to how poorly most schools will travel?

True. When you go to the KFC bowl for a hangover, you walk a fine line between lying contentedly on the couch and watching a movie or sitting on another bowl for the whole day.
