Sean Duggan will be added to the staff I bet. Was with Hafley this year at OSU and would be a great recruiter for the state of Ohio and of course at St. X. Can sell the kids on playing with Keeks in HS through college. Wouldnt mind him as a LB coach.

I got the sense from the Hafley interview that he has an OC and is waiting to make the announcement. Really stretching things here but it would support the Turner rumor; maybe Turner is waiting to see what happens with an NFL job (once all HC are hired) and if an NFL job falls through he goes the college route.

I think Hafley wanted the bowl game to be over before announcing his staff. No need to signal to kids that the coach they are prepping with for the bowl game is a lame duck. It is the right way to do things in my opinion. There is no rush an announcement. Hafley is a newly hired head coach who is considered an up-and-comer. He won’t have trouble finding quality assistants. As for Turner, I believe Hafley had identified him well before he was even hired by BC. Coaches often talk about the staff they’d assemble when they interview. For instance, Schiano demanded more assistant pay because he wanted to go out and bring in Bajakian as his OC and Campanile as DC.

Monday will be the 1st staff meeting. Prob means a presser or an article on the athletic dept's website. So we're thinking that Hafley cleans house or does he keep an assistant or two?

Good for him. Here’s my thing... Hafley should bring in guys he wants to work with. But, at the same time, Daz always had decent assistants around him. So, they will and should find good jobs. Wish them all well. Maybe, in a few years, we’ll be looking for one of them to come back in a bigger role.
