He’s also going to be on national tv getting talked about. You hope the d plays awesome and we get a bit of free pub for it.

I hope Clempson beats them 3-0.

Darren6 {l Wrote}:He’s doing the right thing by staying on and coaching OSU through the playoffs, I realize you want him to it the ground running with the BC program but he’s going to be a man of his word and stick with the guys he recruited to OSU and not bail on them

Completely agree with this - whatever ephemeral, tactical advantage we lose from a bit of timing pales in the face of losing integrity. I suspect this means Gunnell stays on in some capacity, right? Which to my mind is a good thing.
Either way, this is hopeful and exciting - Jarmond navigated a tricky environment and executed really well. White smoke was excellent. Guy knows where he is and what he’s doing.

We should be thrilled with either even though there are reasons to be concerned about both (from a play call/scheme perspective), because both would be major poaches from solid programs even accounting for the promotion.
billyshelby {l Wrote}:I know I'm beaten down from the last decade, but this just feels like it will go down as the best hire ever. I'll bet we see early signs of this when defensive recruits we would never have a shot at, especially in the secondary, start committing. If I was a top DB, and I did even a basic internet search on Hafley, I would get very interested in being coached by him

I’d prefer campanile to Washington. We would own NJ (at least the ones we wanted to target) which is key for us if we want to take the next step.

bringing in campanile would make for some interesting recruiting battles in nj with his brother being retained by the patron saint

nice to have you back in the mix 9903, hansen was getting out of line

If you want to save face, perhaps you should start a thread titled "Hafleys staff" so.we can discuss assistants.

Ruling on the above-post: Brutal, but accurate.
