Let me stump a bit for Birmigham. The restaurants are great. The Civil Rights Institute is a very moving museum. There is also a museum of Birmingham history at the statue of Vulcan that is surprisingly interesting. Flying there might tough, but I do recommend the trip as a one time thing.

That said, when at Legion Field, leave no valuables in the car.

I am going. The scariest parking lot I ever used at a game was the housing complex next to the citrus bowl.

I bought my tickets last week, will make the five hour drive from New Orleans, at least it’s a shorter drive than last year to Dallas.

Birmingham is only 2 hours and 15 minute drive from Atlanta. Go to the Peach Bowl and make the drive to Birmingham.

Go Eagles!

I was just there for the SEC championship, and put into the lottery for the National Championship, didn’t request Semifinal tickets because of $$. But there is a chance that I might get two free player tickets, in that case my son will be home from BC and we will make the drive the weekend before!

What? Huh? The bear on ESPN picked BC +7.5 against Cincy!??! Didn't hear his rationale, but man....I know many teams come into bowls disinterested ( see Utah loss to Texas) but that may be the Eagles best hope.

I see BC controlling both lines of scrimmage and winning 27-17. Fickel is highly overrated and Cincinnati has beaten a bunch of nobodies.

Go Eagles!

You must be a real believer in those extra bowl practices as BC hasn't really controlled the LOS defensively this season.

I have watched Cincinnati a few times this year and I was not impressed. They barely beat Temple and struggled against their defensive line. The AAC is not a good conference especially on defense. You have a 10-2 team that is only a 7.5 point favorite over a 6-6 team, that’s telling.

Go Eagles!

Unless Cincinnati doesn’t come to play or Gunnell is some miracle worker, this won’t be pretty.

The fact that we don't have an offensive coordinator is the reason why I am expecting an L tomorrow. Missing AJ Dillon doesn't help either. I will be pleasantly surprised if BC somehow pulls it out.

Is there a depth chart for BC? I don't see one on bceagles.com.

The pep rally, ugh...the BC play by play radio guy spoke for almost ten minutes breaking down the offensive and defensive game plan, he could have just stopped talking and let the band play...it was pretty pointless

It is supposed to be flood like rain. All BC needs to do is honor daz with a smash mouth game and they can win.

If Hafley has full control, this game (and the way Rich Gunnell handles things) may determine if Rich Gunnell will have a job under Hafley's leadership.

BC could win or lose this game 70-0 and it would have no effect.
