Big-Gums is somewhat funny and makes sense. Cabal is beyond awful.

I like polls. And I like vocabulary. But I don't like butter. I actually like margarine a lot more.
I like BC basketball.

I like cabal because I think it accurately defines how the college football national champions are picked each year. How else would you explain how Ohio State goes from being ranked 7th in 2007 to the title game. They're not ranked so highly this year because they're being put on probation for getting to the title game three years in a row and biting the big one.

actually, strike that - it upsets tdw so (when 81 refers to his trouser worm) and i'll never read it, so its a net gain...

81 should say whatever stoopid stuff that he wants. to try to withhold that right from him is some QUEERZOID MOOSLIM CRAP. GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

I think EO is all part of a Big-Gum CABAL. Trying to banish 81 to MA's. Now that's a BIG-GUM CABAL.

No one listens. First off OSU was one of only 2 BCS one loss teams and there were no undefeateds in the BCS. Second off, everyone else above them lost the last week of the season or was not a conference champion. I've outlined it several times. :ace

So why should it matter more if your one loss is late versus a loss that's earlier in the year? I guess it's the opposite of cumming where the later the better. In the BCS, the earlier the better in terms of early losses and high pre-season rankings. You are going a long way to explain away the cabal P6P. All these if's, and's and but's to your "theory". A cabal is a better explanation.

Good sport P6P. Great analysis. We agree the Big-Gums get an inside track to the NC due to reputation, history etc. which translates into a higher pre-season ranking and therefore an adavantage over the non Big-Gums in getting to the NC game. Good debate Thanks.
