2nd round? It doesn't make sense to use a 1st round pick for a back.

Bryn Mawr Eagle {l Wrote}:No surprise but now it's official - he's in the draft - http://bceagles.com/news/2019/12/10/football-aj-dillon-declares-for-2020-nfl-draft.aspx

This is a good move for Dillon, especially given the head coach being terminated. Its the perfect time. He's uninjured, at the top of his game. I wish him the best.

aj has nothing more to prove at the college level and has been a great ambassador for bc

there's still plenty of talent left in the rb room

Agree with all of the sentiments & that he has nothing left to prove.

That said, CBS did a 7-round mock & he went in the 6th. Other prognosticators see him as a fullback. I don’t think the NFL knows what to do with him. His combine will go a long way to determining his future.

He’s a lesser regarded version of Derrick Henry.

He’s a Bo Scarborough type back but more acceleration. He probably could use one more year in a better offense to show his pass catching and blocking ability.

Derrick Henry is a great comparison. The Derrick Henry that occassionally shows up, not the one that's checked out most of the time.

Henry is one of the best RBs this year. Really over the last 13 months.

Most RBs are done by the time it took Henry to figure it out.

First, most RBs aren’t second round picks. Second, most RBs don’t average 4+ YPC in their first three years, let alone the high 4s that Henry has. Third, most don’t do that on a rookie contact. Keep doubling down though. It’s okay to be wrong.
