Like a lot of St Peter’s grads, Wimbush exercised very poor judgment. The selection of UCF was simply stated, utterly stupid. He would have started for us and he would have likely made a difference in at least one game. If the Dazzler is returning, then I am sad that UCF was the fat girl with pretty eyes that Wimbush could not be talked out of. If Dazzler is fired than I am glad that Wimbush was drunk and unable to see UCF’s cankles because of its limpid blue eyes.

He was given permission to talk to RU and I was told had a phone interview with the AD. I think that move meant both parties had made their intentions clear. I think Daz was emotional because he knew it was his last game and sentimental about the kids winning it for him.
