I am glad that they hung 40 (and possibly more) on us and have shut down our running game. There is no perfuming this one. There is no moral victory in this embarrassment. This has devolved into straight up prison rape territory at the hands of one of Leahy’s precious academic peers.

If this was a close game Leahy would have clung to it like a talisman against making a necessary change. Might as well take the beating for the long game corrective.

I interpreted it as Daz needs to make a bowl or he is done. At least we know where he stands. I thought he might be able to skate by with 5 wins due to brown going down but it looks like 6 is the minimum acceptable mark.

I am only speaking in the context of now the formerly mustachioed steve addazio and his coaching staff.

Daz has found several creative ways to get to 7-6. Go 4-6 and get there. Start 7-2 and get ranked, end up there. I wouldn’t be surprised if he does it this year (I would) and barely squeaks out a game vs Pitt and then beats Grambling State in the FiberOne Bowl.

I wouldn’t be surprised (I would) if this whole thing is just him fucking with us and trying to see how creative he can be to get to 7-6. Dude’s probably laughing like a hyena cashing those checks

I think them driving it down our throats with their second team, then lifting half the second team for senior walk ons and then not allowing Jurkovec to throw a pass and basically squatting on the ball at the 3 yard line is a fitting end. I would Fire Daz immediately after the game. Get an early jump on the available coaches. Let the OC and the rest of the assistance coaches coach the Pitt game. If they win it, awesome. Otherwise, fuck it. Have a new coach installed for the bowl practices (if they win the Pitt game) and early recruiting signing period to try and salvage the class.

They have a legitimate defense though and we’ve only played 2 of those this year for a combined 14 points.

I expect BC to best Pitt, Daz gets BC to the avocado toast Enron Bowl and we will suffer a will they/won’t they fire Daz for a couple of weeks because there is no way this relationship can end in a clean and decisive break.

At end of the day Marty knows he loses the 10 remaining fans if he keeps the Dazzler but it will be a tortuous month+. At least the bowl game will come early December and we can then all move on from another mediocre season that wasted the best RB in BC football history.

Pitt game is on ESPN2. going to watch it to get a look at what we are up against / try and extinguish the awful taste of that shit burger Daz left in my mouth.

I feel real bad for the Seniors this year.

I was pretty confident before the game that Addazio would split the last two and get a bullshit bowl and a one year extension. I am not as confident now. Daz and the team might still find a way to get it done vs Pittsburgh but I'm not sure how.

The way I look at its good either way. Either they win and the Seniors get a bowl game or they lose and we probably don't have to see Addazio anymore.
