I want to see a lot of play action, trick plays, Grosel running zone reads, lots of the buffalo boys, jet sweeps with Zay, short passes to hunter long, and lot of zone defense. no man to man, that's not working.

VT played this team close so there is no excuse for us not to do the same. I realize ND has dramatically improved since then but fuck it, team needs to come to play, make tackles, and not give up big plays.

Just for historical purposes I’d like to point out that BC scored a TD in spite of seriously questionable officiating on the drive. Face mask being picked up was wrong on the Ko return. Should have been 15 yds. Holding call was not a good call IMO and while the Kobay catch was obviously short of the goal line there was easily no evidence to overturn.

This defense has to come to play again. ND offense just sat on the sideline for a long while.

Irish playcalling has been offensive. They are sending receivers downfield despite BC playing deep in man to man. Is it below their dignity to take 6, 8, 10 at a clip? How long before they adjust?

Book is taking a lot of hits.

Pass coverage is awful. It seemed BC was having some success pressuring the QB. The moment they went back to a 3 man rush, we got picked apart.

If he didn’t get fired for 4-8 in 2016, he is not getting fired under any circumstances the year after a playoff appearance. He should be pushed out, but Savvy Jack Swarbrick is too busy ducking subpoenas from the USA Gymnastics scandal to notice that his coach is mediocre.
